Randy Swan Obituary Randy Joberr Swan was born on July 23, 1985 in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Albert Swann Jr. III and Patricia Sifford. His paternal lineage is Chickasaw Nation; and maternal heritage is African American and German. The family moved to the Cleveland area in 1989. Randy received his formal education in the Cleveland Public school system. He was a graduate of Max Hayes High School, Cleveland Ohio. Randy loved to cook and was an excellent cook. He was employed as a cook at several local restaurants; Harry Buffalo was one of his most recent places of employment. He would often post pictures of specialty dishes he prepared. Randy’s life was filled with a variety of interests. Randy had a joyful personality. He was always positive and loved joking around with both adults and children. He had a strong belief in God, and would always say, “God got me”. He found peace and comfort at the Lake. He was fond of his quiet visits to Lake Erie, just walking along the shore, watching the water waves bounce against the break wall and enjoying the scenic view. His love for music was evident through the songs he loved to sing. The variety of music he listened to spanned from old school to rap. He also loved his tattoos; two angel wings are prominently displayed on his back. He loved sports and was an ardent supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers. In addition, Randy loved mentoring young adults, especially his cousins, who often called him for advice on difficult situations they encountered. Randy also dearly loved his family especially his boys, he absolutely loved and adored them; he frequently shared and posted pictures of RJ and Day’Von. He cherished every moment that he spent with them. Randy was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Inge Posl Sifford, as well as his paternal grandmother Bessie Swan. Randy’s life is celebrated by both parents Patricia Sifford and Albert Swan Jr. III; children, Randy Swan Jr. (“RJ”); and Day’Von Oliver; his maternal grandfather, Frazier Sifford Jr. (Linda), Savannah Georgia; brother, Alex Frazier Sifford, Savannah Georgia; sister, Ebony Young and brothers Kerry Young and Byron Hunter of Lawton, Oklahoma; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other family and friends.
