Quemonte Leonard Obituary Quemonte Marcell Leonard affectionately known as “Que” was born June 5, 1994 to Dr. Robin Simmons and Chester Leonard in Cleveland, Ohio. At an early age, Que accepted Christ and was baptized at Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church by Reverend Thornhill. In his early years, during his mother’s time pursuing her education they lived in Montgomery, Alabama. After returning to Cleveland, Que spent much of his youth helping his father run his car dealership and learning the ins and outs of the business. He attended the Bedford public school system and was a very proud alumni of Bedford High School. While attending Bedford High school, Que excelled at both wrestling and football. As an inside linebacker Que dominated the football field wearing number 49. After graduating high school, Que attended Marietta College where he pursued a degree in International Business and continued his football career. Shortly after enrolling in Marietta, Que decided to take a leap of faith and instead start his own business. In 2014, he became an entrepreneur and started Mr. Reliable Auto LLC. So much time and commitment was poured into ensuring Mr. Reliable Auto was a success. His efforts turned to be very fruitful, he first started his business as a licensed car dealership, but it quickly expanded to a salvage yard, then later adding on luxury car rental services among many other auto services. Que was one of the youngest salvage yard owners in Northeast Ohio. Financial literacy and economic growth for the community was one of Que’s passions. He often would take the opportunity to speak with the youth about his experience with entrepreneurship. If you ever had a conversation with Que, then he would likely motivate you to start a business or investment opportunity of your own. One of the things that brought Que much joy was traveling with family and friends, his favorite vacation destinations were Las Vegas and Florida, where he visited often. He loved to play cards, spend time with his loved ones and work on expanding his business. On August 9, 2018, Que became a proud father to Aubrianna Leonard. Aubrianna was his pride and joy. Between juggling his business, he spent much of his time as an incredible father to her and as Aubrianna’s “Hero”. He also made one of the very best cheesecakes that he would bring to family gatherings. As we remember Que, we remember the powerful legacy that he created for his family, being a prime example of black excellence, his infectious laugh and being a loving and selfless individual. Que was the epitome of many good things and will be sorely missed by all who loved him. Que was taken tragically from this world on July 8, 2022. He leaves to mourn his passing his father Chester Leonard, mother Dr. Robin Simmons, his daughter Aubrianna Leonard, brother Camren Leonard, sister Sylvannah Leonard, his grandmother Diane Leonard, grandfather Lee Jones, grandparents Mary and Ronnie Simmons, godmother Connie Thomas, his special aunts and uncles, as well as a host of cousins and friends.
