Mary Louise Larry Obituary Mary Louise Larry was born October 13, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents' Bertha Harper and Norman Larry (deceased) the youngest of five children. She was preceded in death by her four siblings: Norman, Walter, Julia Mae, and Grover. Mary was a lifetime resident of Cleveland, Ohio. Mary worked in a variety of industries and disciplines. She worked for World Publishing Company (18 years), Catholic Board of Education as an Early Childhood educator (10 years), Progressive Insurance Company (16 years), Society National Bank later Key Bank (10 years). Mary graduated from Cuyahoga Community College in 1976 with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. In the Cleveland Public Schools she attended: Case Woodland Elementary, Kennard Junior High, and Central High School. Mary was a member of numerous choirs at Gethsemane Baptist Church as well as Wings over Jordan and the Choir at World Publishing Company when that choir cut an album of Christmas carols in the early 1960s. Mary was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church for 67 years where she also taught Sunday school in the 1960s and 1970s. As a child she accepted Christ at Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church. Mary was an avid reader, loved watching mysteries, loved pets, board games, singing, sewing, home projects especially anything that involved Black and Decker power tools, embraced computer and cell technology, Mary loved entertaining, cooking comfort food and visiting with family and friends. She leaves to mourn her passing: Her daughter, Karen Delois Larry-Moyer; Her son-in-law of 31 years David A Moyer; Two Nephews (Edward and Gregory); One Niece (Yvonne); 14 Great Nieces and Nephews including: Ben Jr, Sherry, Audrey, Pamela, Michelle, Ray Jr, Paula, Karen Lynn, Sharon, Yvette, Kay; 15 Great Great Nieces and Nephews; 6 Great Great Great Nieces and Nephews; Her beloved Goddaughter, Vonita; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mary was very people oriented and would gladly give of herself and she touched many hearts along the way. She epitomized the term friend.
