Lincoln "Linc" Wynn Obituary On May 2, 1952, Lincoln Calvin Wynn, “Linc”, became the first-born child to L.C. and Margaret Wynn (both preceded in death). He was later joined in the household by five more siblings which included; Yinitrus “Niecie” Wynn (preceded in death), Kalimah “Celestine” Wynn Johnson, Antoine Wynn, Kim A. Wynn, and Venetia “Lena” Wynn-Mitchell (Timothy). Linc earned excellent grades throughout his years in Cleveland public schools and while attending junior high, he discovered his love for playing the trumpet. In 1970, he proudly graduated from John Hay High School (Hornets). After high school, Linc attended Cuyahoga Community College to acquire his accounting knowledge and skills. He was very intelligent, streetwise, news savvy, articulate, athletic, fashionable, and an excellent dancer. In his early job career, Linc used his accounting and leadership skills to secure various jobs as a bookkeeper, inventory specialist, tax assistant, and even a manager at Burger Kings. Additionally, he worked in the office for his father at Bobbie Brooks. During these early years, Linc lived for a short time period in Chicago, IL with his uncles, Sonny and Herman. After working and traveling for a while, he decided to start a family so on May 17, 1978, Lincoln and Dorothy Robinson joined hands in marriage. To this union, Joseph D. Wynn and Anthony R. Wynn, were born. His third son, Darne Coles was born on July 30, 1987, to Crystal Coles Hill. His youngest son and name-sake, Lincoln Wynn (Little Linc), was born on April 26, 1989, to Troy Donna Salett (preceded in death). His transition into a family man also led to a new career of being a professional hair stylish for men and women. This was accomplished when Lincoln graduated from Vogue Beauty School. He also started fine tuning his trumpet playing skills by teaching his self how to play more complexed music compositions. He displayed this talent as a hobby, playing as a street musician in downtown Cleveland during many different sporting events. As Lincoln became a man of a certain age, his best friend, Gale Guy-Perkins (preceded in death) became his lifelong partner. They were two peas in a pod. They shared everything; they had a love for style, movies, entertaining guests, cooking, shopping, blending their families, and making people laugh. Linc would often share with Gale his special time with his grandkids. Lincoln leaves 11 grandchildren to cherish his memories. Deshon Wynn, Jasmine Wynn, Dayshona Wynn, and Taehona Mitchell. He also leaves to mourn his sons and a stepbrother (Deante Coles), siblings, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and beloved cousins.
