Joyce Cloud Obituary Herstory Joyce E Cloud was born on October 31, 1946 in Cleveland Ohio to the late Eugene A and Evelyn I Cloud. She was the youngest of 4 children who all preceded her in death. She accepted Christ at an early age. She was raised in the church where her Mother Evelyn played the organ and Father Eugene and Brother Norman sang in the choir. She was educated in the Cleveland Public School System and was a graduate of the John Hay High School class of 1965. She became a Mother for the first time giving birth to Daughter Dannette in June of 1966. Four years later she gave birth to twins sons Marcus and Malcom in March of 1970. She held various positions while working for the City of Cleveland Police Dept., Computer Science Corp, HUD, Navy Finance Center, and lastly Dept. of Defense. She had her own sense of style and was well put together whenever she left the house. She loved shopping and baking she could do both for hours. She loved getting together with Family for birthdays holidays, and just having a good time. She had a big heart and would give you anything you asked for. She will always be remembered as a strong woman that loved her Family. Preceding her in death were her parents Eugene Sr. and Evelyn Cloud, Brothers Eugene Jr, Ronald Sr, and Norman Cloud. On July 11, 2022 God said well done my good and faithful servant, you fought a good fight, you finished your course, now come on up a little higher, and our Mother flew away. She leaves to cherish her memory Daughter Dannette (Jeffery) Steele, Sons Marcus (Ronschnette) Cloud, Malcom Cloud 10 Grandchildren Malcom Jr, Keeandra(DaVanese),Mia, Tevin Sr., Jaisha, Marcus Jr., Morgan, DiMarco, Taelyr. 6 great grandchildren, Emmanimaliyah, Mahaileyah, Makai, Vanessa, Tevin Jr., Aylah 4 Sister in laws Dorothy Cloud, Mildred Cloud, Gloria Cloud, Janis Bogan Cloud, Dear Cousin Rufus Brazell, Lifelong Friends Mildred Cook-Lawrence and Jacqueline Talley, and host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends. “ When I Must Leave You” When I must leave you for a little while Please do not grieve and shed wild tears And hug your sorrow to you through the years But start out bravely with a gallant smile And for my sake and in my name Live on and do all things the same Feed not your loneliness on empty days But fill each waking hour in useful ways Reach out your hand in comfort and cheer And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near And never be afraid to die For I am waiting for you in the sky Helen Steiner Rice Thank You We would like to thank Rev.
