Hattie Mullins Obituary I was born on September 29, 1926, and was the last of nine children born to the union of the late Effie Essie Sims Bryant and Johnnie Washington Bryant in Roseville, Georgia. I graduated from the Second District Middle School. I met and married the love of my life, Robert Lee Mullins on June 7, 1945. To this union our first child, Jose Antonio was born. Later we moved to Cleveland, Ohio where we began to raise our family with the arrival of Marcenia, Michael, Vanessa and Robin. Oh, how I loved my husband and my children! I was a devoted wife and mother and later worked for the Cleveland Board of Education as a member of the Custodial Department, where I worked for 30 years. I was a quiet and devoted mother who stressed the importance of God and family unity among our five children and our household. I enjoyed cooking, crafts and sewing, and gardening. Being with my husband for 65 years before he preceded me in death, my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren have been the sunshine of my life! Our family attended Elizabeth Baptist Church where I later became a member under the leadership of the late Reverend Fred Hall. I remained a loyal, faithful and devoted servant until I departed this earth on September 24, 2018. I am survived by, to carry on my legacy, my children, Jose Mullins, Marcenia (David) Dawson, Michael (Janett, deceased) Mullins, Vanessa (James) Aldridge, and Robin Mullins Cornelious. My grandchildren, Shauna, Dyrek, Demond, Brandi, Michelle, Victoria, Jessica, Brenden, Kristen, Taylor and Jennifer. And my great grandchildren, Amber, Michael, D'Kari, Darian, Demond Jr., Jaylen, Haydrian, Ronin, Cedric, Bailey, Robert and Mailah.
