Erik Williams Obituary Erik Vann Williams affectionally known as “Rabbi” was born March 27, 1972, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Beverly R. (Williams) Scullark (Rickey) and the late John T. Williams (Jackie) deceased. Erik was the youngest of his four siblings John “Punchie” Williams, (preceded him in death) Veyonne L. Jackson, (Reggie) and Anthony Williams. While visiting several churches, he became baptized as a young adult at Mt. Zion Oakwood Village. Erik graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in 1990 and then would go on to attend the University of Cincinnati. After college Erik would go on to work a variety of jobs from Progressive Plastics to Buddy’s Carpet. He was known as the Al Bundy of Thom Mcan, Erik was a true salesman. With his outgoing and charismatic smile and upbeat personality, Erik was known as “The Mayor” amongst his closet friends. He never met a stranger and knew everyone everywhere they went. He could strike up conversations from world history, sports to movie & tv trivia. Erik was an avid music buff. Those that really knew him, knew he was a huge Prince fan. So much that shortly after he moved into his recent apartment. Excited, after shopping with his sister for his new spot he told her he wanted to paint the walls in his bedroom purple, she told him I don’t think so! He would then settle for a purple chair, purple shower curtains and a few purple rugs instead! Erik was also a diehard Browns and Indians (Guardian) fan. You could always catch him taking in a softball game at Forest Hills Park or adorning his favorite sports team’s apparel proudly. He would almost never leave the house without a sharp fedora or sporting his signature baseball caps. He was always dressed neatly and coordinated. Erik leaves behind to cherish his memory two daughters Erika and Erin, nephews, Anthony Jr., David, Aaron, Brandon, Cameron and Damien. Nieces Ashley, Annalise and Veronica. Great nieces, nephew, Zoey, Amora and Elijah. Three bonus sisters Samantha, Robin and Zenobia A host of bonus nieces, nephews, family and friends.
