Carol Moon Obituary Carol Williams-Moon, who initially confessed her faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, later redirected her faith after marriage and attended Antioch Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio. Despite this change, she continued to show her love for Jehovah’s Witnesses through ongoing Bible service in Ohio. Carol graduated from Roosevelt High School in Gary, Indiana, with the class of 1979. As the years went by, Carol moved from Gary, IN, to Chicago, IL, where she continued to live and enjoy her life. She gave birth to two cherished daughters, Tandra Williams in 1987 and Sharon Williams in 1990 whom she is survived by. Carol loved braiding their hair, kissing, hugging, and singing songs like Donell Jones’ “Knocks Me Off My Feet to them.” In 1998, Carol met the love of her life, William Moon, she affectionately called him Billy. From the start, they were ready to conquer the world together. That year Carol and her two daughters moved with William to Cleveland, Ohio. October 17, 1998, she and Billy were joined in holy matrimony, and spent 26 loving years together. Even when she suffered her first stroke in 2000 Billy and Carol held each other down. Carol is survived by her loving husband William Moon (Billy). Carol was a hard worker and was always dedicated to the task that she had. Carol’s unwavering commitment and excellence in her career led her to frequently advance to higher positions, reflecting her remarkable work ethic and determination. Outside of work, she had a great sense of humor and treasured spending time with her family and friends. Carol loved to drive, and enjoyed traveling to Gary for visits. She had a passion for music; listening to 2 Pac, Mary J Blidge, R&B & Oldies. She loved a good cup of hot Coffee with just the right amount of sugar and cream. Carol enjoyed bowling, the outdoors, playing card games, hosting card parties, dominoes and dice. Carol often enjoyed her activities with her cigarette Newport 100’s and a drink by her side. On the downside she enjoyed relaxing to some cartoons and TV shows such as Martin. She had a keen interest in the latest gossip and loved staying informed. Carol’s vibrant energy was infectious, making her a joy to be around and deeply cherished by all who knew her. On October 2, 2024, Carol Williams-Moon peacefully passed away, surrounded by her loved ones. Her grace, strength, and humorous personality will always be remembered, cherished and she will be deeply missed by her loving husband William Moon, loving daughters Tandra and Sharon Williams, grandchildren, Nathaniel Lewis-IV, Joshua Lister, Nylah Lewis, and Tajah Owens.
