Benjamin (Ben) Williams Obituary Benjamin (Ben) H. Williams was born September 26, 1940, in Frankfort, KY to the late Benjamin F. & Margaret Williams. He was the oldest brother to Joyce (deceased) and Greg. Ben attended Cleveland Public Schools and graduated from John Adams High School. Ben met his loving wife Barbara during his school years, and they married on June 27th, 1959. They had 3 beautiful children: Ben, Jr., Bonnie, and Bruce (deceased). Ben, Sr. started working at the age of 9 for his father at Central Auto Sales, which later became Ben’s Auto Body Specialists. Ben played football and was a part of the Audio Visual (AV) Club at John Adams High. He also enjoyed bowling and drag racing. In late 1983, Ben, Sr. became the owner of the family business Ben’s Auto Body Specialists. Ben Sr. could do everything from body repairs to painting cars, as well as running and growing the business. Ben Sr. worked there until he retired in 2005. He was on the board for the Automotive Service Association (ASA), State Automotive Collision, COSE, Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) and Fairfax Renaissance. Ben Sr. also enjoyed golf. He was a part of Match Limited, Tee-Offers, and the East Side Grasshoppers. He was also a part of a social club, the Gaylords. Ben Sr. enjoyed spending time with his wife and his family. He planned family trips to Seven Springs and Nemacolin Resort both located in PA Ben transitioned on November 3rd, 2024, he leaves his loving wife, Barbara. His children Ben, Jr. (Carol), and Bonnie (Jack), his brother Greg (Heidi), his grandchildren, Ben G., Jocelyn, Bridget, Ashleigh (Kardin), Julian, Byron (Brittany), Jesse, Cristin (Mark), Devin (Dominique) and Quinton and his great-grandchildren Alexis, Nyla, Brock, Ezra, Yomii, Royal, Delilah and Ivy. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins and numerous friends. We, the family of Ben Williams Sr. would like to say thank you for the calls, visits, prayers and expression of love and sympathy during our time of bereavement.
