Audrey M. Watkins

Audrey Watkins Obituary Audrey Marie Watkins (nee Tucker) was born on April 21, 1943, in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She was the 3rd child of 7 children born to her parents Earl and Florie Tucker. The family moved to Cleveland in 1955. Affectionately known as “Tina”, she graduated from East High School in 1962. Shortly after that, she married her high school sweetheart Thurston Watkins Jr., June 18, 1962. From this union there were five children born. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thurston Watkins Jr., brothers Larry, John and Michael Tucker and sisters, Peggy Harris and Eloise Rice. “Tina” was a beautiful, loving, generous, and spiritual woman. On July 1, 1995, she was baptized as a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses and remained faithful to her God down to the day of her death. As a member of the Scottsdale Congregation, she loved attending meetings, assemblies, conventions and going in field service, especially early morning street witnessing before the Pandemic struck and her health allowed. She played an important role in the lives of her children, grand-children and great grand-children. She loved music and loved to dance and play cards. There are many fond memories of her participating in family gatherings and social events. She worked very hard to be helpful to family and friends when she could. “Tina” was dearly loved will be sorely missed by her brother Felix S. Tucker, brother-in-law, John Watkins, sisters-in Law: Shirley Tucker, Janice Scott, Jeanette Watkins, Mary Alexander and Gloria Davis and also her five children: Cynthia (Lonnie) Hall, Cassandra Watkins, Cecilia Watkins, Crystal Watkins and Thurston (Caytana) Watkins III. 17 grand-children and 17 great grand-children and a host of spiritual brothers and sisters, family and friends. We eagerly look forward to the time when God’s promise to undo the effects of sin and death will come to pass and we will welcome her back to life in perfect health in the New World to come.
