Vaudie Roscoe Obituary The epitome of love, Vaudie Roscoe, affectionately known as "Honeybee," was born on December 7, 1935, alongside her twin brother Pete, to the late Ruth Cowart and Horace Lowery. She grew up in Luverne, AL, surrounded by the warmth of her family. In 1947, Vaudie and her family moved from Luverne, AL to Cleveland, OH. She attended John Adams High School, where she met her high school sweetheart and future husband, Howard Roscoe. After graduating, Vaudie continued her path of excellence pursuing her passion for culinary arts and seamstress skills at trade school. On December 20, 1962, Vaudie and Howard were joined in holy matrimony, and together they built a loving family of four children. At home, Vaudie was a devoted and loving mother who truly cherished her children. Vaudie's ambition led her to a career at an architectural and engineering firm. She found joy in shopping, sewing, cooking, and baking some of the best homemade desserts. Her culinary creations were a testament to her skill and passion. On December 27, 2024, Vaudie made her peaceful transition to be with the Lord. She passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and culinary excellence. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Cowart, father Horace Lowery, and beloved daughter Sharon Roscoe. They are now all together again in the home of God. Vaudie leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her loving husband, Howard Roscoe; her sons Steve, Vince (Jasmine), and Brian; her grandchildren MonCheri, Stephanie, Sean, Krystal, Stacee (Drew), and Vince; and several great-grandchildren. “Give her of the fruits of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates” Proverbs 31:31. We shall mourn her, we shall miss her, and we shall make her proud of the family she created.
