Robbie Crenshaw Obituary ObituaryRobbie Crenshaw was born October 11, 1942 to Mamie and Robert Williams of Fort Gaines, Georgia. Robbie accepted Christ at an early age as a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church in Fort Gaines, Georgia. She later joined Zion Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where she remained a member until her passing.Robbie received her formal education through the Cleveland Public School District where she graduated from East High School in 1961. In 1964 she married Aron Crenshaw, to this union two children were born. Aron Jr. and Chontel. Robbie began working for Lane Bryant, circa 1976, where she achieved a rewarding twenty year career in retail. Robbie served dutifully until her retirement. Robbie was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and receiving pictures. If you've ever been to her home, you know the visit didn't start until you completed your journey through the countless pictures that wallpapered the rooms. No one was allowed to graduate, get married or have a baby without providing a picture. Robbie especially like to shop. She never passed on a stint of retail therapy. Not a day went by that Robbie wasn't sitting comfortably in front of the television watching General Hospital. This, above all else, was her favorite pastime.Robbie was welcoming to everyone who came in contact with her. She had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others. Robbie was called to eternal rest on June 1, 2016. Robbie was preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Mamie Williams; brothers, Earnest D. Williams and Isaac Williams, Sr. Robbie leaves to cherish her memory two children: son, Aron Crenshaw, Jr. of Cleveland Hts., Ohio; daughter, Chontel Crenshaw of Van Nuys, California; two grandchildren, Dorian and Cheyenne Crenshaw. Robbie is also survived by her sister, Barbara Peacock; brothers, Earl (Cheryl), Raymond, Torris, Paul and Robert (Tracie), as well as many nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
