Peggy Williams Obituary Peggy B. Williams, born in Collinsville, Alabama and a resident of Cleveland, Ohio for 60 years, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio. Peggy enjoyed a long and fulfilling life. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Joe C. and Matilda Williams; her brothers, Joe Nick Williams, Cleo Williams, and Elmer Williams; and her sisters, Deliah Avery and Edith Gradford. She will be lovingly and fondly remembered by a host of family members and friends who cherished her vibrant spirit. Peggy was a dedicated worker, serving many years as a quality assurance inspector and trainer at TRW and several other defense contractors. A woman of many passions, Peggy was well known for her impeccable sense of fashion and style, always turning heads with her elegant presence. She was an active individual, walking five miles a day in the park and tending to her yard. Peggy was also a global traveler, exploring the world with a sense of adventure and curiosity. A true sports enthusiast, Peggy was a devoted fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers. After her retirement, she enjoyed working part-time at the arena on the security staff, where she was able to share her love for the team with the community. Peggy loved spending time with her family. She took immense pride in the accomplishments of her nieces and nephews, always eager to share their successes with others. Peggy was a strong advocate for higher education, encouraging her family to pursue academic achievements and celebrating their progress. She was a consistent presence at family gatherings, birthday parties, school events, church programs, graduation ceremonies, and other occasions. Peggy B. Williams will be remembered for her dedication to family and community, and the countless memories she created with those she loved. Per her wishes, private family services will be held to celebrate her life.
