Patricia McDonald Obituary Patricia A. McDonald (Morrow) was born on November 9, 1948, in Laurel, Mississippi. She was the only child of W.H. Hales who preceded her in death and her loving mother Pearline Morrow. Patricia, affectionately known as “Pat”, “Patricia Ann”, or “Tish Ann” accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Shady Grove Baptist Church (Laurel, Mississippi) as a child. Her family relocated to Cleveland, Ohio and she became a faithful member of Olivet Institutional Baptist Church for over sixty years. In her youth, Pat was a member of the Children’s Choir, Youth and Young Adult Choir. She remained active as an adult in the Combined Choir / Mass Choir and November Birth Month Ministry until her health would not permit her to do so. Pat attended and graduated from John Hay High School in Cleveland, Ohio and studied Nursing immediately following high school because she had a genuine love of helping others. Pat was married on October 27, 1970 to James Wilson McDonald who preceded her in death on January 21, 1996. To this union two children were born; Tiffany J. McDonald & Tyrone J.W. McDonald. Pat worked at Ohio Bell Phone Company for many years. She later worked at University Hospital as an LPN and retired due to her health. Pat loved the color gold and Betty Boop; playing Bingo and cards with family; going to the casino and shopping with her mom. Spending quality time with her children and grandchildren also meant a great deal to her. She absolutely loved babies and small children. Pat was always taking care of someone’s child. Pat could often be found watching The Game Show and Food Network. She loved Lemon Meringue Pie, Butter Pecan ice cream and anything with walnuts. She loved her church and even when she could no longer attend due to her health, she enjoyed watching service live streamed. Pat was always smiling and will be truly missed. She leaves to mourn her mother Pearline Morrow, her two children: Tiffany McDonald & Tyrone McDonald (Tarlecia); five grandchildren: Kambria Kaimille “KK” Stradford, Tyi Renai McDonald, Tylynn Juvai McDonald, Tylar Janai’ McDonald, Taydyn Nache’ McDonald: God-Child; Quinishia and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
