Kapryce Copeland Obituary Kapryce Shantell Copeland was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 6, 1989 to Nicole Ross Collins and the late Dennis Copeland. Kapryce was a member of Williams Temple alongside her great-grandmother, Sarah Jackson, where she found the love for praise dancing and the world of God at a young age. Kapryce attended school in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, where she graduated from the Life Skills Center of Northeast Ohio at the top of her class in January 2009. Kapryce loved music like her father, who was a DJ. She also loved writing poetry in her spare time. Before her recent illness she received her certificate as a peer recovery supporter. Kapryce was well known everywhere she went by her laughter, intelligence, her stylish ways, and helping anyone she could. Not only was Kapryce a great friend, but a great sister to Jamie’sha Ross of Leesburg, Florida and brothers, Antonio Cook Jr., Jonathan and Joshua Collins of Mount Dora, Florida. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sister Jamie’sha Ross, nieces and nephews, Nyra, Jacob, Jaiden and Emilee of Leesburg, Florida. Her loving grandmother, Hilda Copeland, of Euclid, Ohio, who she lived with during her adult years. Her grandparents Charlie Mae Ross and Jimmy Ross of Deland. Kapryce is preceded in death by her precious father Dennis Copeland and Great grandparents James and Sarah Jackson. Florida. Her mother Shandra Nicole Ross and brothers Antonio Cook Jr., Jonathan and Joshua Collins of Mount Dora, Florida. Her Uncle Jamie Ross of Deland, Florida and Victor Copeland of Cleveland, Ohio. Her special great aunt Betty Crenshaw, special friend Kia Burge, her Goddaughter Keivontti, her God mother Tracy Lynn Simpkins and a host of relatives and friends who loved and will miss her. Kapryce in her own way tried to make a positive difference in the lives of the people she loved. Hopefully they will use this saddening and overwhelming time to understand how short life can be and how much important it is to put and let God be first in our lives.
