Miss Jessica Dawn Coleman

Jessica Dawn Coleman was born on February 7, 1990 in Cleveland, Ohio to the union of Jamie and Clifton E. Coleman Jr. She is the youngest of the two children. Jessica attended and graduated from South Euclid/Lyndhurst Schools. In her junior and senior years she also attended vocational education classes at Euclid High School and received a Criminal Justice Certificate. Jessica graduated from Lakeland Community College on the Dean’s List with an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Jessica worked full-time for the President's Staff at the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainsman Union. She enjoyed this position which allowed her to help others and work with a staff of people she grew to know as friends. When Jessica began saving for the car of her dreams, (candy apple red, Chrysler Sebring, hardtop convertible) she also obtained a part-time job, bar tending at Playhouse Square. Jessica accepted Christ at an early age attending Zion Missionary Baptist Church where her grandfather, Clifton E. Coleman Sr. was presiding Reverend until his death in 1995. Her parents are currently members of St. John AME Church which she also attended when her busy work schedule allowed. Jessica loved to swim and became friends with Lifeguards at the local pool. In order to be a Lifeguard in South Euclid you must be at least 16 years of age, Jessica passed the Lifeguard exam at age 12. She was a very good cook, downloading recipes and watching the cooking channel to prepare delicious meals. Jessica would take photos of her culinary creations and invite family or friends to enjoy them with her. Thankfully, she also believed in exercising to stay fit and trim which off-set her love to eat. Jessica loved to go places and have fun. In her 26 years on this earth, she visited Orlando, Daytona Beach, Grand Bahama Island, Nassau, Philadelphia, Birmingham, Hickory, Charlotte, Atlanta, Myrtle Beach, New York, New Jersey, Toledo, Kent, Columbus, Pittsburg, Hershey, Dayton, and Steubenville. GOD saw to it that she achieved a full lifetime of living in just 26 years. Jessica leaves to cherish her precious memory, father (Clifton E. Coleman Jr.), mother (Jamie Coleman), sister (Si'Toya Coleman), nephew (Clifton E. Coleman III), ten aunts (Rene Fenty, Quintina Stone, Vera Paul, Michelle Jenkins, Barbara Coleman, Adell Coleman, Earnesteen Scruggs, Dorcas Huff, Ora King, and Anna Lee Finley), seven uncles (Anthony Stone, Curtis Fenty, Ronald Fenty, Norris Bailey, Robert Paul, Seab Coleman Jr., and Roy Coleman), surrogate grandmother (Vergie Reese), godmother (Wanda McKinnie), nine cousin-aunts (Flora Wingo, Gladys Huff, Georgeanne Little, Janet Porter, Alice Wynn, Linda Coleman, Elise Coleman, Kimberly Coleman, and Jacqueline Winkfield), eight cousin-uncles (Nathan Huff, Otis Wingo, Lawrence Little, George Porter, Ernest Coleman, Seab Coleman III, Mark Coleman and Doug Jenkins). Jessica was in a committed relationship with Dion Hayes who was the love of her life and had been her friend since they were eight years old. With all her heart, Jessica loved Dion's daughter Sa'nia and all the other members of his family (Jasper, Joann, Marlisa, Carl, Keshiane', Chaz, Da'von, Sandrell, Will, Shiane, Tia, Dream, Ben, Jr. and Tonya) who treated her as if she was their own. Along with numerous other family members and friends.
