Invines Arrington Obituary Invines Gwin Arrington was born August 21, 1934 from the union of Fred Gwin Sr. and Minnie Harris. The youngest of six children from Tula, Mississippi. Invines known affectionately as Baby Doll attended East Technical High School in Cleveland, Ohio. She had an incredible love for music, all types of music especially Motown, R&B, and the Blues. She loved fashion, flowers, playing Keno, and dancing. She was a joyful presence with her style of clothes, beautiful hair, creative fashion choices, and good personality. Baby Doll lit up the room upon entrance. Pla-Mor Roller rink provided a recreational venue for all ages and was the only black owned skating rink in Cleveland. It was also a place for top billed musical acts. It was at this place she met as a teen Floyd Arrington Sr. Baby Doll and Floyd frequented cabaret parties and Leo’s Casino, a premier showcase in Cleveland for Motown and R&B artists. It began as a bar then expanded into a Jazz room and provided many comedy acts. Baby Doll soon became Mrs. Floyd Arrington with two children Phyllistine in 1958 and on her birthday in 1960 came Floyd Jr. In her early twenties, Baby Doll worked dressing windows at Red Robin’s, a Cleveland’s downtown department store. During the 1960s she became a supervisor at The Joseph & Feiss Company, a garment manufacturer founded in 1841, until her retirement in 1995. Baby Doll found pleasure in arranging flowers in her yard, making her famous potato salad at cookouts, and known for talking in the telephone with good friends Johnnie Mae, Lucille, and Geraldine. Baby Doll felt comfort knowing her family was by her side during a brief illness while peacefully transitioning on the evening of March 8, 2023 into her new home. A special thank you to Bobbie Jean, Vanessa, Michael, and Sammie who provided time, energy, and support when needed. Baby Doll leaves to cherish her memory 2 children, Phyllistine, Floyd Jr. (Candace), 3 grandchildren, Inverness, Ashton, Aja (Steven) 3 great-grandchildren, E’njolie’, Jax, and Naz 3 brothers proceeded in death Fred Jr. (Evelyn), Linton (Shirley), Clinton (Audrey), 2 sisters (deceased) Erecene (Frank), Rose Lee ( L.
