Gregory Bell Obituary Mr. Gregory Eugene Bell, 53, of Maple Heights, Ohio entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Gregory Eugene Bell was the second son born to Jacqueline E. Bell (preceded him in death) and Vernon A. Bell, Sr. He was born on January 31, 1972 in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Elementary school in Garfield Heights, Ohio where he met life-long friends. He added more close friends while attending Middle and High School in Pepper Pike, Ohio. He graduated from Orange High School where he was a member of the track team, specializing in Discus. He next attended his father’s alma mater, West Virginia State University, where he was lovingly nicknamed Spike and was voted Freshman Class President. Greg Loved the Lord and excepted Christ at an earlier age. They were constant church worshippers at East Mount Vernon Missionary Church, under the leadership of Pastor Arlyn Davis Sr. One thing that everyone understood, Greg was a hard worker and was never without a job. He worked hard and loved hard, was an awesome provider and a patient caregiver. Whenever he set his mind to do something, he did it with enthusiasm. At one of those jobs, Kay Dee Medal Fabrications in Solon, he was introduced to Wanda Bruce in 1997, by his sister-in-law, Artie while they all were employed there. That introduction became a “match made in heaven” for both. They stayed together for years and married on September 19, 2014. Greg was a quiet, strong-minded, observant individual. Once you really knew him, his personality shined from the inside as well as the outside. You knew you had a good friend for life!! He loved to travel, he loved to eat, he loved to spend time with family and strived to have the best for himself and his own family. Greg leaves to mourn as well as cherish his loving memories, his wife until the end, Wanda Bell, his three children, Keshia, Johnnie and Vasheta and seven grandkids, (Kenora, Jayon, Alexis, Aaliyah, Jalen, Jayah, Jaciere), his father Vernon Bell Sr., brother, Vernon Bell Jr. (Crystal), nephew (Ian) and nieces (Kendall and Ava), brothers in law, Ronald (Thelma), Jonathan, sisters in law, Sandra, Linda (Courtland), Artie and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.
