Mr. Everette Williams

Everette Williams was born March 22, 1962 in Florence, Mississippi to Reverend Billy Williams Sr. (preceded him in death) and Martha Ann Williams. He was preceded in death by his brothers Jerry Lee Williams and Rev. Gary Williams. He was the third of seven children. Everette gave his life to Christ at an early age. In the early 1970’s Everette joined Our Redeemer Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. John W. Aden Sr. and was later baptized at Gethsemane Baptist Church. Everette attended Shaw High School. He was in the class of 1980. In the early 1980’s Everette was a Short Order Cook for the Spaghetti Warehouse for five years. From 2008-2017 He was a Short Order Cook for Bill’s Restaurant. Everette was always willing to lend a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on and provide a hearty line of laughter (MAN DOWN!!) Everette loved all sports, his favorite was Football and he loved The Cleveland Browns!!! Everette was known as Cooder and Cooder Bear. He was well known and loved by the City of East Cleveland. He made everyone feel special. Cooder Ruled the basketball courts of East Cleveland, he diminished everyone’s skills and took everybody money on the basketball court and if necessary, if you couldn’t handle the defeat he was like Tim Misny: HE WOULD MAKE YOU PAY with his signature left handle crossover although he was really right handed. Everette leaves to cherish the memory of life: God fearing, loving, and caring parents Rev. Billy Williams Sr. (deceased) and Martha Ann Williams. Daughters: Deanna Marie Jones, Simone Alexander, and Tamikah Williams. He also has three grandchildren. Brothers and Sisters: Billy Williams Jr. of Houston, Texas. Jerry Lee Williams (deceased) of Los Angeles California. Mary Ann Williams of Cleveland, Ohio. Jennette Williams of Cleveland, Ohio. Jenifer Evette of Cleveland, Ohio. Rev. Gary Williams (deceased) of Cleveland, Ohio. Nieces and Nephews: Sierra Martise Dixon (Terrence), Christopher Allen Williams, Christina Marie Sanders, and Jonathan Micheal Williams all of Cleveland, Ohio. Two great nephews. He is surrounded by many beloved Aunts and Uncles, Cousins, other relatives and friends. He will be sorely missed. Humbly Submitted, The Family
