Darnell Wilson Obituary Darnell Anton LaBaron Wilson was born December 28, 1977 to June and Edmund Wilson Jr. in Cleveland, Ohio. He had four brothers and one sister. Darnell accepted Jesus Christ, as his Lord and Savior, at a young age. He received his formal education from the Cleveland School System. He attended John Marshall and South High School. Upon completion of high school, Darnell served his country by enlisting in the U.S Navy in October of 1996. After being discharged, Darnell enrolled at Kent State University and Total Technical Institute for their electrical engineering programs. Because of his passion for cooking, Darnell enrolled in the culinary program at Tri C Community College. On July 5, 2014, he was joined in holy matrimony to Nicole Jennifer Stallworth. They were happily married for seven beautiful years. They met at H&R Block when Darnell was getting his taxes done and Nicole was working as a receptionist. Darnell had many skills that lead him to working at Home Depot as an electrician, but his ultimate joy was cooking which led him to working as a cook at a skilled nursing facility. Darnell had various talents and hobbies. He enjoyed cooking, in which his specialty was grilling, fixing things, and playing cards and dominoes. He also enjoyed video gaming, particularly “Risk” with his best friend Phil, and listening to music. Darnell especially loved and valued spending time with family and friends. He was a prankster and a master at giving “wet willies”. On December 2, 2021, Darnell departed this life and entered eternal peace with no more pain and suffering. He was preceded in death by his father Edmund Wilson Jr and his two brothers, Darron “Boobie” Smith Jr. and Darius “Tootie” Smith. Darnell is survived by his loving wife, Nicole, his mother June Smith (Darron), his mother in-law Cynthia Stallworth, his grandmother Corrine Long, one sister Demetria Tutt (Marcus), two brothers, Edmund Wilson III (Rhonda) and Steven Turner and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunties. He was a loving son, husband, brother, uncle, nephew and friend who will truly be missed and will always be remembered.
