Ms. Daisy Marie Ritchie

Daisy Marie Ritchie (TUDY) was born on April 23, 1941, In Cleveland, OH, to the union of Louis and Daisy Ritchie. Daisy was the youngest of three children. She was preceded in death by her loving parents as well as her brother Melvin L. Ritchie Sr. At an early age, Daisy later moved with her parents to Chagrin Falls, Ohio. She attended Kenston school district in Bainbridge, Ohio, graduating and went on to attend Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. She then went on to the working field at S.K. Wellman Finney Company and later to Lincoln Electric Company where she then retired after over 25 years of service. After her retirement, she worked part-time at Hamlet Hills in Chagrin Falls, as well as some private duty in-home patient care, until illness prevented her from doing so. Daisy’s daily life was a reflection of God. She was a member of Union Bethel A.M.E. Church in Chagrin Falls. Daisy was a very sociable person who loved people and would help everyone and anyone in need. Especially when it came to her family. Daisy was a devoted daughter and became the primary caregiver for her parents during their lengthy illnesses. She played with the US Lady Devils Football team, and bowling leagues throughout the northeast. Daisy had a love for cars early on drove a 1984 Buick Park Avenue and later went to Chevy trucks. Daisy was known for her love of thick steaks (that only she could prepare), Puerto Rican rum and coke, her favorite dill pickles while listening to Al Green and James Brown (She never missed a Al Green concert and always got the rose). She leaves to mourn her passing, her loving and devoted brother Lonnie J. Ritchie Sr., Her Beloved Pedro Rodriguez (Pete). three nieces Dorothea M. Ritchie, Deborah R. Sanders (James), Darla M. Rondo; three nephews Melvin L. Ritchie Jr. (Linda), Lonnie J. Ritchie Jr., Louis J. Ritchie Sr. (Rose); her great nephews Aaron E. Ritchie (decreased) Melvin L. Ritchie III, Michael C. Rondo Jr., Louis J. Ritchie Jr. Darnell S. Rondo, Mark D. Rondo (US Army) and Aaron D. Sanders; her great nieces Aisha D. Ritchie, Tiffany L. Ritchie, Marissa M. Rondo, Linda J. Ritchie, Nina R. Ritchie and Nora M. Ritchie. Her beloved family pet Coco C. Ritchie
