Cheryl Harris Obituary Cheryl was born on February 20, 1953 in Cleveland Ohio to Henry Harrison and Geraldine Jackson. She was the sister of William, Linnie (deceased), Douglas (deceased), Gregory and Marlene. Cheryl attended the Cleveland public school system where she met friends. They enjoyed dancing, singing and roller skating. She spent summers in the country, Labelle Pennsylvania, with her grandmother and aunts helping with chores. Cheryl met her first love, Derrell Franklin, in high school. Derrell proposed to Cheryl during her senior year, she wasn’t old enough to marry, so her parents gave her permission and signed off on this new venture. As Mrs. Franklin, Cheryl completed High School at Zweibrücken Germany Air Base. A year later, she returned to the states and birthed her first born Monica Monique. Cheryl’s marriage encountered irreconcilable differences and the two separated permanently. She later moved to California, became a college student and majored in early childhood education because of her love for children. After living eight years in “The Golden State” she and Monica found home again back in Cleveland. Her career changed and she became a health care professional at Sunny Acres Hospital in Warrensville Township. Cheryl found love once again with Alonzo Harris. On March 10th 1989 Cheryl and Alonzo united in holy matrimony. This union created three bundles of love, Kelli Keiona, Jason Gregory and Judy Anita Louise. Together they devoted their life to Christ; they began to study scripture and fellowship at Sacrificial Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of Pastor Homer Williams. The two returned to Cheryl’s childhood church home, New Mount Zion Baptist, Cheryl and Alonzo began formal theology studies. Later they attended, joined and served at Faith Temple Church under the guidance of Bishop J.W. Thompson. Cheryl accepted her calling to ministry at Greater Works Deliverance Center and started Anna David Children’s Ministry. Later she became anointed as Prophetess where she served the community at The Vineyard Center Ministries under the leadership of Bishop T.D. Franklin. Following these years of fellowship and spiritual enrichment, Cheryl and Alonzo felt the need to begin their own church; they established Full Life International Ministries. Alonzo preceded her to eternal rest. Cheryl found joy in spending time with her children, grandchildren and family until her passing. Prophetess Cheryl Yvonne Harris transitioned from the earthly plane on Tuesday April 13th 2021 at 11:47 AM in Grande Pointe Healthcare. She was surrounded by loving family members as she took her final breath and departed this earth.
