Catherine Conner Obituary Catherine Rowena Conner, daughter of the late Wallace and Ollie Goodwin was born January 9, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio. Catherine was one of seven siblings, Alice Mae Gardner, Keith Goodwin, Jean Marie Owens, Jesse Wallace Goodwin, Rosa Dixon, and Buster Henry Goodwin (all which preceded her in death). She attended Cleveland public schools and was a graduate of John Adams. At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and attended Mary B Wise Memorial Baptist Church and Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Catherine was a strong, independent mother who was blessed with five children, one of which (Denise Robinson) preceded her in death. Catherine was employed for many years by Cuyahoga County as a correctional officer. Catherine was affectionately called "Momma" not just by her kids and grandkids but, all who knew her including, nieces, nephews and friends of her children. Momma was never one to "bite her tongue" when expressing herself but, she also was a caring and loving woman. Her greatest joys in life were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed bingo, going to the casino and spending time with family. Catherine departed this life on March 1, 2018. Her life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: LaDonna (Keith, deceased) Blue, Denise Robinson (deceased), Diana "Smiley" Robinson, Malik (Elizabeth) Alim, Daniel (Danyelle) Conner; grandchildren, Jerome (Melinda) Reeves, Javisa Walker, Anna Weems, Charlie (Kelly) Robinson, Curtis (Charmaine) Robinson, Calvin (Teresa) Robinson, Stan Reeves, Stephanie Reeves, Wayne Cloud, Ashlee Conner, Devin Conner, Daniel Conner II, Delvonte Conner, Divaughn Conner, Danita Conner and Tatiana Conner. 55 great and great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
