Arthur Hill Obituary Arthur Leon Hill of Lyndhurst, Ohio transitioned into Eternal Life on June 5, 2020. Arthur was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 6, 1948. He was the eldest of three children. Arthur was preceded in death by Antonio Hill (brother), Natalie Franklin (sister) and his beloved mother Willa Francis Hill (Grace & Rufus Davis). Arthur graduated from Max Hayes High School in 1967 and immediately enlisted in the United States Army where he did (2) two stints of service for our country. Arthur was a loving and caring husband and soul mate of 47 years to Patricia Hill. Arthur and Patricia were married January 13, 1973 and from this blessed union came their son Arthur Leon Hill II. Arthur accepted God in his life at an early age and was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. As a Journeyman Pipe-fitter, Arthur worked at General Motors in Parma, Ohio where he retired in 2013. Arthur was active in the UAW as well as Local 120 Pipefitters Local. Knowing Arthur meant you had to be an avid sports fan of Football & Basketball, he spent his past-time taking trips to Nashville, Tennessee just to watch football games with Artie and the guys. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, shopping, going to the casino and most importantly spending time with his beloved wife and grandchildren Peyton, London and Kahlea. When Arthur walked into a room he captivated people with his charismatic style and fashion. He touched many lives with his mischievous jokes that kept you laughing, and he always made sure his family was priority over everything. Arthur transitioned into Eternal life on June 5, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with cancer leaving forever memories of a wonderful life and legacy. Those who live to cherish his memories include his dedicated wife Patricia Hill; his proud son Arthur Hill II (Toia Hill); his granddaughters Peyton Hill, London Hill and Kahlea Russell, Phyliss Huey (sister); Sisters in Love - Sharon Dixon Stephens (Aaron), Carolyn Largent, Brenda Smith (deceased); Brothers in Love – Perry Dixon (Oneda), Henry Smith (Karen), James Smith (deceased); Nieces and Nephews, Ebonie Dixon Drake (Karlos), Rashawn Masten, Santina Brunson, Deidra Masten, Solema Jennings, Perry Dixon II, Michelene Sales, James Smith Jr., Elizabeth Hodges, Hank Smith, Lori El-Amin, Latoya El-Amin, Lineal El-Amin; and a host of great nieces and nephews.
